Ian Neligh is an award-winning journalist, screenwriter, and author. On assignment, Neligh has flown airplanes, reenacted Civil War battles, and competed in burro racing. He has interviewed bounty hunters, gold prospectors, and bare-knuckle boxers. Neligh has written for a host of magazines about the American West and authored two non-fiction books detailing the region’s colorful history and characters. The History Channel has featured Neligh multiple times on the show The Unexplained with William Shatner for his knowledge of Western history and lore. He has also written several screenplays that were made into feature-length movies. His fiction has appeared in various anthologies and he has a full-length novel coming in 2028 from Sley House Publishing. A military law enforcement veteran, former newspaper editor, and passionate historian, he currently resides in the Colorado Rockies at 8,000 feet.
